These paintings were generated over the course of about 15 hours. Each one is 6″x12″ and the intent is to group them into larger compositions.
Overall, the experience was extremely valuable to me in that it gave me an opportunity to explore ALOT of different color compositions in a very short period of time.

Title: The Kelpie
Size: 24″ x 44″
Medium: Enamel on Masonite
The Kelpie is a mythical creature that takes the form of a wet horse to draw children and weary travelers near them. If one tries to pet or mount the horse, the skin gets extremely sticky and the Kelpie drags the person into the darkest depths of the nearest body of water. I think the moral to the story is to keep your hands off another man’s horse…
UPDATE: They apparently call the Kelpie a “Nuggle” on the Orkney Islands. Gaelic has some awfully cute words for dreadful monsters.
Dimensions: 24″ x 48″
Medium: Enamel on Masonite
While everyone else was out reveling on Saturday night, I was toiling away making sure my paintings were ready to hang at Fitness Together. As a reward, I drank what some would consider a little too much calvados, put the complete works of the Flaming Lips on shuffle and painted this. I really like the area just right of center, I think it looks like a Morey Eel.
I would love to give this painting to Wayne Coyne, if you are Wayne Coyne, know Wayne Coyne, or know someone who knows Wayne Coyne, I would appreciate any help you can give in helping me accomplish this mission.
